Two vacuum sintering furnaces with copper infiltration capability have been installed and qualified, adding roughly 30 percent to our monthly output of W-Cu and Mo-Cu.

Qualification covered density, hardness, conductivity and microstructure on reference grades; production has moved to the new furnaces on a two-shift pattern.
