Trade FAQ
What is your minimum order quantity?
Standard W-Cu, Mo-Cu and pure tungsten plates and rods ship from stock at 1 kg. Custom machined parts start at 5–10 pieces depending on size; for very small parts we quote a setup-inclusive price for 10 pieces.
Can I get a sample before placing an order?
Yes. Cut samples of standard grades are ready in 3–5 working days, and sample cost is credited against the first production order. For custom shapes we can machine one piece at prototype pricing.
What is the typical lead time?
Stock items: 3–7 working days to ship. Made to order: 15–25 working days after drawing approval, depending on size and quantity. Every quotation states the lead time explicitly.
Which payment terms do you accept?
T/T with 30% deposit and 70% before shipment for new customers; L/C at sight for orders above USD 20,000; PayPal or credit card for samples. Repeat customers can move to net 30 after three settled orders.
What tolerances can you hold?
Surface grinding: ±0.005 mm on thickness, ±0.01 mm on ground faces. CNC turning and milling: ±0.01 mm, with 0.8 µm Ra as standard. Flatness and parallelism are checked and reported on the drawing before packing.
Do you supply material certificates?
Every batch ships with a mill certificate showing chemistry, density, hardness and conductivity, together with RoHS and REACH declarations when requested. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV) can be arranged at cost.
Can you machine to my own drawing?
Yes — STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF, PDF and hand sketches are all accepted. Our engineers review each drawing for feasibility and will flag any tolerance or feature that would raise cost before quoting.
How is the material packed for export?
Parts are wrapped and separated with foam, boxed, then packed in an ISPM-15 fumigated wooden case with the packing list inside and outside. Air, sea LCL and full-container shipments are all arranged.
